Istanbul. Turkish Prime Minister Recep Erdogan Teyyip strongly condemned Israel for its failure to comply with UN resolutions and its obstinacy in violating the airspace of Lebanon and its territorial waters, not to mention the bombing on the Gaza Strip.
In a press conference in Ankara in the presence of his counterpart Sa'd al-Hariri, Erdogan accused Israel of threatening international peace.
"We can not remain silent in the face of Israeli behavior ... Israel has disproportionate power and uses it to not comply with UN resolutions. We can not accept this, because these behaviors threaten peace in the world, "said Erdogan, who also blamed Israel for the killing on Sunday of three Palestinians during an air raid on Gaza.
"What, this time, your excuse? Shoot rockets? We observe the situation, and there are just these rockets, "said the prime minister turkish, which called for reforming the United Nations because of their failure to enforce its resolutions on Israel.
Commenting on the U.S. threats to Iran, Erdogan said: "The region can not accept a new situation similar to that created in Iraq. Turkey has long defended Iran's right to develop nuclear for peaceful purposes. "
"Those who warn of nuclear weapons in Iran, do not do the same to Israel," said Erdogan. "The five permanent members of the Security Council must be honest: Israel did not deny the existence of its nuclear arsenal, by contrast, has just admitted."
"Those countries have to warn Israel and sentenced for possession of weapons of mass destruction."
The Israeli foreign minister, meanwhile, lashed out at Erdogan's statements, saying that all his bitterness toward Israel and its policies are endangering the relations between the two countries.
Meanwhile, last Monday, the deputy foreign minister summoned the Israeli ambassador Danny Ayalon in Israel turkish, Ahmed Celikkol, to protest against the new Turkish television series showing Israelis as war criminals.
The Israeli media is unleashed by saying that the series, titled "Valley of the Wolves", an exhibition of the Mossad agents who attacked the Turkish Embassy in Israel and taking hostage the ambassador and his family.
Ayalon said television series like this, coming together with anti-Israel statements made by members of the turkish government, not only damage bilateral relations, but threatening the Israelis in Turkey.
Israel had already protested in the same way last October, when another Turkish television series showed Israeli soldiers shot in cold blood a Palestinian child.
